The Meiku Kunming Economic Development Zone Intelligent Cold Chain Supply Chain Processing Center represents a significant strategic investment by Jiahao Meiku in Southwest China. With a total investment of 700 million RMB, the project will establish an intelligent cold chain supply chain processing hub integrating: multi-temperature zone fresh/fruit cold chain processing, smart cold storage, central kitchen facilities, and urban distribution capabilities. This will be complemented by trade settlement services and high-tech R&D innovation.
The center will comprehensively serve Kunming residents' demand for premium healthy fresh products while leveraging Kunming's strategic position as a regional international hub facing Southeast Asia and South Asia. It will provide international-standard cold chain facilities for importing premium agricultural and fresh products from these regions, effectively connecting the markets of ten ASEAN nations and covering a consumer base exceeding 600 million across Asia.
Located in Chenggong District, Kunming, the project adjoins major transportation arteries—the Yu-Kun and Shan-Kun Expressways—with only 18 km to Kunming's city center, ensuring exceptional transportation accessibility.
Kunming stands at the intersection of the North-South International Corridor and the third east-west Eurasian Land Bridge originating from Shenzhen. As China’s gateway city to Southeast Asia and South Asia, it occupies a pivotal position within the ASEAN "10+1" Free Trade Area economic circle, the Greater Mekong Subregion Economic Cooperation zone, and the Pan-Pearl River Delta Regional Economic Cooperation network.
